Ride to Remember

This page is dedicated to the memory of our Gettysburg Bike Week family who aren't with us in body, but still with us in spirit.  May God bless each of their souls and may they rest eternally in peace.

STEVE SNYDER

Steve is remembered by his wife Joy as an avid history lover. He attended Gettysburg Bike Week for many years, not just for the riding but as an opportunity to learn more about the town's history every year. Joy is proud to say that Steve's love for history was inherited by his
granddaughter, who recently visited Gettysburg for the first time. His family will miss him forever, and they Ride to Remember Steve.
ERIC MILLER

Eric Miller passed away on January 7th, 2021 from COVID-19. He is remembered by his family as an amazing friend, who loved nothing more than riding his Harley with his wife and granddaughters. Eric was a huge Gettysburg Bike Week and Harley Davidson fan. His family and friends will ride to remember him during Gettysburg Bike Week this year and honor the tradition that he celebrated every summer.

CATHI HUNT

Cathi Hunt moved through her life, a fine woman of great stature, strength and courage. She lived a noble life, rich in thought, word and deed, always concerned for the welfare of others. A unique artist and talented storyteller, Cathi contributed a great deal in sharing the history and spirit of Gettysburg. She had previously owned and operated a business in town where she conducted Trolley Ghost Tours. A skilled motorcyclist, Cathi could be found in the crowd riding her Harley with pride during the traditional GBW Parade of Chrome. She enjoyed all aspects of  Bike Week, especially the music and the community gathering together. At home Cathi was known for creating the best of times with family and friends, love and laughter filled every celebration.

Family and Friends  Ride to Remember Beloved Cathi~

Forever in our hearts~

Justin Betts

J
ustin Betts was involved in an accident on January 27, 2018, as a car made a U-turn in front of his motorcycle.  He later died on January 28, 2018, with his family by his side.  Justin was the most loving, genuine, assertive, creative, and hard-headed person.  He enjoyed motorcycles and was lucky enough to own many throughout his short life.  His brother-in-law and sister Ride to Remember.
Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous.  It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattentive, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity.
